However, for those customers who live in an area with poor water quality or have a particular concern about certain substances in their water, specialty filters have been designed to remove a wide variety of constituents. 
 
Prior to purchasing any water filtration system, consumers should have an understanding of their current water quality. In some cases, it is prudent to conduct site-specific water quality tests by using an independent lab to ensure the filtration system is designed to take out everything undesirable. Water testing is available from a qualified laboratory for independent analysis. Filters and their housings (approximately 11"X3.5" in size), They can be used individually or joined together depending upon your needs. The filter housings can be mounted as a countertop or an under the counter configuration. As a countertop, a small stand is attached to the top of the housing and it is then inverted to sit flat on the counter. As an under the counter, a bracket is attached to the top of the housings and the filter is not inverted. High quality double O ringed housings for extra leak protection.
