Cocoa beans, from the Theobroma cacao seed pod, are the source of powdered cocoa, chocolate liquor, and raw cocao nibs. Dark chocolate (60% cocoa, or more) is considered a health food, researched for it's antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and mood enhancing properties.
